What Happens During an MOT

An MOT is an annual test required by law to ensure your vehicle meets minimum road safety and environmental standards. Our qualified testers check everything from brakes, tyres and lights through to emissions, steering and suspension. The test typically takes around 45 to 60 minutes.

If your vehicle passes, we will issue the certificate and update the DVSA database immediately. If it fails, we will explain exactly what needs attention, give you a clear quote for the repair work, and only proceed once you have given the go-ahead.

MOT Reminder Service

It is easy to lose track of when your MOT is due. We offer a free reminder service so you never miss your renewal date. We will send you a reminder in advance, giving you plenty of time to book in at a time that suits you.

MOT testing is available Monday to Friday by appointment. Our workshop is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
