What warranty do you provide?

Every retail vehicle supplied by Westhill Cars includes a minimum 3-month warranty unless clearly stated otherwise. Most vehicles qualify for 6 or 12-month extended warranty upgrades with nationwide claims handling. These extended warranties can be used at VAT-registered garages across the UK, and optional breakdown cover is also available. Whether you are in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire or anywhere in the UK, warranty claims are handled nationwide. We do not sell vehicles "as seen" to retail customers. Full terms are provided before purchase.

Are your cars mechanically checked?

Yes, properly. Every vehicle undergoes a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), road test, mechanical health check, MOT review (with a fresh MOT where required) and a service if due. We do not retail vehicles with known mechanical faults. Used cars are not new cars, but they are prepared to a standard we are proud to stand behind.

Are your cars HPI checked?

Every retail vehicle is HPI checked, verified clear of outstanding finance (unless stated), mileage checked and theft record checked. We do not retail category cars. Transparency is non-negotiable.

Do you offer finance on used cars?

Yes. We work with a panel of UK lenders offering Hire Purchase (HP), PCP (on selected vehicles), prime and near-prime finance, and credit builder options. We help customers across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire secure car finance every week. Same-day decisions are common. If you are unsure about your credit profile, speak to us. We deal with real people, not automated rejections.

Do you accept part exchange?

Yes, and we value properly. Send us your registration number, mileage, clear photos and an honest description. We price part exchanges based on real market data, not inflated expectations. If you are looking for retail money for a trade car, we may not be the right fit, but we will always be fair.

Can I reserve a vehicle?

Yes, with a holding deposit. Deposits secure the vehicle, remove it from sale and demonstrate commitment. Deposits are generally non-refundable if you simply change your mind. If the vehicle is materially misdescribed, you are protected. We are straightforward about this from the outset.

Do you offer nationwide delivery?

Yes, across mainland UK. Vehicles are either delivered by a fully insured trade driver or transported via a professional vehicle transporter. Delivery is chargeable and quoted based on distance. We do not inflate delivery costs, but we do not absorb them either.

What if I buy online and want to return the car?

If you purchase remotely (distance sale), you have 14 days to reject under Consumer Contracts Regulations. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition, return costs may apply and fair usage mileage deductions apply. This protects both parties. We provide full written terms before completion.

Do you negotiate on price?

We price vehicles competitively using live market data. If a vehicle is priced correctly, there may be little or no movement. We are open to sensible discussions, particularly where finance or warranty packages are involved, but we do not engage in unrealistic discount negotiations. We focus on value, not headline gimmicks.

Can I view and test drive?

Yes, by appointment. We encourage proper inspections, test drives and any questions regarding the vehicle. We are confident in what we sell. We are just 10 minutes from Aberdeen city centre via the A944. Book your test drive by calling 01224 744411.

Who are we not for?

We are not for everyone, and we are comfortable with that. If you want the cheapest car in Aberdeen regardless of condition, we are probably not the right dealer. If you expect retail money for a rough trade-in, we will disappoint you with honesty. If you are looking for a dealer who will tell you what you want to hear rather than what you need to hear, we are not that either. We are for people who value properly prepared vehicles, transparent pricing, straight talking and a business that will still be here if something goes wrong. How far are you from Aberdeen city centre?

We are approximately 6 miles west of Aberdeen city centre, around 10 minutes' drive via the A944. We are just off the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR), making us easy to reach from all areas of Aberdeen including Kingswells, Dyce, Bridge of Don, Cults, Bieldside and Peterculter. Free parking is available right outside the showroom.
